Estates Team

Manzanita Estates was founded by Elaine M. Baker — whose journey in home services began in 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada, originally as a cleaning company. Over time, the business naturally expanded as Elaine began assisting senior clients with home repairs, organizing, and packing for relocation.

As her reputation grew, more clients turned to her for moving support, which led to her first estate sale in 2010. From there, estate liquidation services developed organically — driven entirely by referrals from families who appreciated the care and professionalism brought to every project.

Our business is built on honesty, discretion, and hard work. Over the years, we have discovered cash and valuable items during estate sales — each one carefully documented and returned to our clients with their keys and final payment. Our photographer captures 100+ professional photos for website and social media. We run the sale Friday through the weekend — handling everything start to finish.

Post-Sale & Wrap-Up

Leftover items are donated or removed per contract. Clean-out crew leaves the home broom-swept. By the end of week two, we return your keys and a certified check.

Where do we begin?
The first step is a free walk-through. We come to the property, tour the home with you, and build a custom plan of action — including your full timeline and every step of our process.
What will it cost me?
Zero upfront costs. We charge a percentage of total sales and deduct it from the proceeds at the end. Our consultation is always completely free.
How long does the process take?
Setup takes 3–4 days, the sale runs over the weekend, and by end of week two we return your keys and a certified check. Typically 1–2 weeks start to finish.
Do I need to be there?
Not at all. We handle everything — setup, pricing, the sale itself, and post-sale clean-out. Many of our clients live out of the area. We keep you fully updated throughout.
What happens to items that don't sell?
Remaining items are donated or removed per your contract. Our crew hauls everything and leaves the home broom-swept and ready for its next step.
Should I donate items beforehand?
Please don't donate or discard anything before our walk-through! Clothes, linens, kitchenware — all of it adds to your final proceeds. When in doubt, call us first.
How do you price valuable items?
We have a professionally trained and certified appraiser on staff specializing in antiques, collections, and jewelry. Our QC team then walks the entire sale to double-check every price.
How do you advertise the sale?
Our photographer takes 100+ professional photos before the sale. We advertise on our website, social media, email lists, and local signage — driving maximum buyer foot traffic every time.
How will I be paid?
We provide a complete accounting of the sale and return your keys along with a certified check within two weeks of closing. Everything fully transparent and documented.
Are you insured?
Yes, Manzanita Estates is fully insured. We protect your home and belongings throughout the entire process — from setup through the final clean-out.
Do you offer discounts during the sale?
Yes. Day one is full price. We reduce prices on subsequent days to ensure everything sells. High-value items retain their price to protect your proceeds.
How far in advance should I call?
Call us as soon as you think you might need our services. We schedule in advance, so the sooner you reach out the better we can accommodate your timeline.
